Dallas Regional Medical Center understands family members and friends are an important part of the healing process for our patients and we welcome you to visit.
General Visiting Hours: 8:00 am-9:00 pm
Intensive Care Units: 8:00 am-8:30 am
Immediate Family Members: Noon-12:30 pm
Clergy: 4:30 pm-5:00 pm and 8:30 pm-9:00 pm
If you have any questions regarding specific visiting hours, we encourage you to call (214) 320-7000.
Although it is comforting for patients to have visitors, too many may interfere with patient care because rest is needed for recovery. Generally, there should be no more than two visitors in a room at one time. Please understand that the nurses may need to further limit visitors. Our visiting hours have been set to provide the maximum opportunity for visits. Visitors are required to stop at the Information Desk in the lobby and get a visitor’s badge. This badge must be worn at all times in the hospital. Except in specially designated areas, children under 12 are not permitted to visit patients.
Visitors are welcome to dine in the cafeteria located on the first floor. Hours of operation are:
Breakfast:
7:00 am-9:00 am Monday-Friday
7:30 am-9:00 am Saturday-Sunday
Lunch
11:30 am-1:30 pm daily
Vending machines are located near the Emergency Room entrance on the north end of the building, and near the employee entrance to the North Tower.
Free parking is available to visitors in the lot behind the hospital off Ebrite Street.
Cellular phones are permitted in our lobbies and cafeteria, but are discouraged in patient care areas. Please turn off your phone completely in patient care areas.
Smoking is not permitted on hospital property at any time.
