WOUND CENTER NAMES CO-MEDICAL DIRECTOR

The Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center at Dallas Regional Medical Center has named Shannon Payseur, MD, MPH as co-medical director.  

Dr. Payseur joins Carlton K. Clarke, Sr., MD in sharing responsibilities for reviewing patient care and results, developing new clinical programs, evaluating products, providing clinical education on wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and providing oversight and guidance on Wound Center policies and procedures.  

The Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center at Dallas Regional Medical Center specializes in the treatment of chronic wounds and non-responsive conditions and offers hospital-based outpatient wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.  The Center heals nearly 90% of all wounds treated, well above the national average.  

Dr. Payseur is board certified in Family Medicine and also holds a masters degree in nutrition.  Raised in New Orleans, Dr. Payseur graduated from the Maherry School of Medicine in Nashville, TN and completed her Family Medicine residency at Charlton Methodist Medical Center.  

Dr. Payseur is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, American College of Hyperbaric Medicine, American Chronic Pain Association, National Lymphedema Network, Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society.
