Glenda Newby Named CEO of Dallas Regional Medical Center

Dallas Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Ms. Glenda Newby, RN, BSN, MHA has been named CEO of Dallas Regional Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, effective May 23, 2016.

Glenda has more than 25 years of clinical and leadership experience in healthcare throughout the United States. She joins us from IASIS Health Care where she served as CCO/COO of the Health Choice Management Company in Phoenix, AZ, successfully leading the operational and clinical services of the company. Prior to that, Glenda was the Chief Nursing Officer and Interim CEO of 792-bed St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston, TX. She was responsible for all nursing and other patient care functions and operations within the hospital organization across two campuses.

Previously, she held Chief Nursing Officer and other leadership positions at Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands, TX; Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center, a member of HCA, in Thousand Oaks, CA; Swedish Medical Center in Denver; Tenet; and Baylor University Medical Center in TX. Throughout her career, Glenda has been recognized as a leader who achieves outcomes and enhances revenue with a focus on patient experience, employee and physician retention, and team building.

Glenda received a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from the University of Phoenix in Dallas, TX.
